I believe that WBEZ, the radio station and the Corporation “National Public Radio” are out of contact with the increasing reality of the Latino community, its programming in English Only leaves much to be desired. They have inserted a program called “Latino USA”, in English. And however, we are more than 40 million. In addition to get any mentioning its cultural programming one needs almost to beg. What we propose: initiate the serious discussion of the need for programming in the station that is supported with our taxes, because we are also part of the “public”.
It gives me great frustration that this station intended to be against the “english-only” policy carries out its programming exclusively in English.
